August 5th,2009I’m concerned too many of my posts are long,so I’m going to mix in some short ‘n’light stuff. There’s a new topic called photos which’ll mainly be any of my photos I think you might enjoy.
It's great to see people of all ages enjoying the local park
We have a beautiful public park ten minutes walk away,Roundhay Park. It’s great going for walks there and there’s a good cafe by the lower lake. Thank you to whoever arranged for it to be purchased by Leeds in 1872. We also have Tropical World at one side of the park. They now charge a small admission fee but it’s well worth it. The Mansion House has just been reopened after refurbishment. Apparently our local authority planned to convert it into offices for their staff and were surprised at the outburst of dissent from the public.
