Our bodies function better if we get a modest amount of physical exercise each day,enough to speed up our breathing a bit but not get out of breath. [...] Writers are uncannily like normal human beings in one way. Most of us are unsure of ourselves,and if we’re not careful can lose the confidence to write. It’s called writers’block meaning that we writers block ourselves from writing. Just like everyone else at some time blocks themselves from doing something they’re perfectly capable [...] Some thoughts on brainstorming effectively,and how the novel ‘Ted’is benefiting. [...] Some people live in the past:“If only I’d taken that job”,“Why didn’t I work harder at school”,“Maybe if I hadn’t lost my temper that day”. Some people live in the future:“Once I leave home”,“When I get promoted”,“In retirement I’ll have the time”. Actually this universe is rigged so we [...] So I’m sitting at my computer feeling weak and tired. I intended to do some writing,but what’s the point,it won’t be any good. And anyway I don’t feel like writing. I’m lethargic,unmotivated,really can’t be bothered. But I make myself start. That’s all,start,take one step.
